Developing Netballers For life

Welcome to Coaching at Oakhill Drive

There are many ways you can get involved with Oakhill Drive, and coaching is one of the most rewarding opportunities we offer. We appreciate that your first time coaching can be a daunting experience, so we provide a variety of support structures for our Coaches in order to ensure the best experience for you and our players.

We are always seeking to expand our pool of Coaches and to ensure that our Coaches continually develop. Contact our Coaches Convenor for more information at coaching@nulloakhillnetball.com.

Many of our Coaches began as Team Managers and/or Assistant Coaches. This provides an opportunity to learn more about coaching before taking on your own team, if needed.

We can provide direct support and mentoring at any stage of your coaching journey – just ask us and we will happily assist you.

Visit the Checklist for Beginner Coaches for some great tips for starting out.

Netball NSW also have Coaching Workshops available for all age groups and skill levels. These are available online.

More Coaching resources include:

Foundation Coaching Course

The Foundation Coaching Course is now available online. The Foundation Coach Accreditation Course is targeted at beginner coaches, teachers, parents and ANZ NetSetGO coaches.

It outlines introductory coaching information and basic netball techniques and is the first step in the national coaching accreditation framework. We encourage all coaches to undertake this course.

inspire them to reach this bar,

encourage them, and most of all,
